Vintage 2019
Greater than average spring rains saturated the soil and provided plenty of water for the growing season. A more rigid spring brought about delayed germination, leading to a slight delay in flowering. Various summer weather disturbances made cultivation more challenging and forced us to pre-select grape clusters to keep on the vines. The warmer temperatures at the end of the summer helped with good fruit development and ripening. A later harvest than in previous vintages and the long drying process of 15 days make this vintage very interesting, giving us a wine of great elegance.
