vineyards

our terroir

Our vineyard covers an area of one hectare. The vines grow along steep mountain slopes near the shores of Lago Maggiore, facing the Magadino plain. Thanks to a terraced system, each grape can benefit from maximum sun exposure.

CLIMATE

Due to the proximity of the Alps, our region enjoys a temperate climate with warm days and cool nights. The proximity of Lago Verbano further enhances the microclimate, contributing to the value of our terroir. These unique geographical features allow the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving their organoleptic freshness.

OUR SOIL

With only a thin layer of soil, the roots of the vines are forced to make their way through the cracks in the gneiss rocks in order to obtain essential nutrients such as water and minerals. These challenging conditions under which our vines grow, help translate our grapes into a wine that is complex, full, elegant and great in flavour.
